On May 29, 2026, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation issued a [Notice to Industry](https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/FLOIR/bulletins/41960d1) to inform insurers of the 2026 Catastrophe Reporting Form (CRF) in preparation for the Atlantic Hurricane Season, which began on June 1, 2026.

 

If a natural disaster causes catastrophic damage, all insurers will be required to provide claims and other pertinent information using the CRF. The notice also provides the changes that were made to this year's CRF.
