Maine has enacted [Senate Paper 388](https://legislature.maine.gov/bills/getPDF.asp?paper=SP0388&item=3&snum=132) which provides that medical payments coverage in a casualty insurance policy is assignable only by written agreement between the insured and casualty insurer on a form prescribed or approved by the superintendent.
