On September 11, 2025, the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance issued Insurance Bulletin 25-09 to inform certain insurers of the new Missouri Insurance Verification System (MOIVS). 

The Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR) is developing MOIVS following the passing of Senate Bill 398, as the state's new uninsured motorist verification program. The bulletin indicates that insurers licensed to write automobile liability insurance coverage are required to register with the MOIVS by October 15, 2025. The bulletin provides a link to the new system as well as other key dates for insurance companies.
