On August 5, 2026, the North Carolina Rate Bureau (NCRB) issued [Circular G-26-4](https://www.ncrb.org/Portals/0/ncrb/circular%20letters/general/2026/G-26-4%20Mandatory%20EFT-ACH%20for%20payments%20to%20member%20companies%20NCRB.pdf?ver=qBCTWyIHMJs1dc9FxSOFGA%3d%3d) announcing that checks will no longer be issued for payments made to member companies. Effective October 1, 2026, all payments from the NCRB to member companies will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)/Automatic Clearing House (ACH).

NCRB member companies are required to complete the ACH form attached within the circular and submit it no later than September 1, 2026. The form requests certain banking information and a bank verification letter on bank letterhead.
