New York has amended 11 NYCRR 140 and repealed 11 NYCRR 145 pertaining to private passenger automobile and commercial automobile statistical plans.

Among other provisions, 11 NYCRR 140 was amended to add that insurers and statistical agents must monitor private passenger automobile and commercial automobile statistical data in accordance with the standards set forth in Section 2 of the 2012 Statistical Handbook of Data Available to Insurance Regulators published by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

11 NYCRR 145, which set forth the implementation of the private passenger automobile insurance Statistical Data Monitoring System, has been repealed.
