On May 15, 2025, the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) issued Commissioner's Bulletin #B-0004-25 regarding a data call for 2024 property direct written premium in the Texas catastrophe area.

Companies must respond to the data call if they fall under one of the three categories outlined within the bulletin. The companies that are required to respond must complete and submit the data call using the TWIA Data Call Form that is linked in the bulletin, and complete and email the TWIA Data Call Affidavit separately from the Data Call Form. Responses are due no later than June 16, 2025.
