On November 15, 2024, the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS) issued a letter regarding the Annual Availability Survey, which includes the Annual Free Trade Zone Report and Special Homeowners Insurance Supplement.

On June 5, 2024, the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) issued Insurance Circular Letter No. 4 regarding disaster planning, preparedness, and response by the property and casualty insurance industry.

On April 3, 2024, New York's Department of Financial Services (DFS) released a letter pursuant to Section 308 of the Insurance Law requiring companies reporting written premium for commercial automobile insurance in calendar year 2023 to complete a survey. This survey requests detailed information on the total number of policies and direct premiums written, by category, for all public auto rate classifications during the time period of January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. Any rate revisions that are being contemplated, or changes in your current level of writings in the immediate future, should also be included.

On January 11, 2024, the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS) issued a data call to all licensed property and casualty insurers writing private passenger automobile insurance with 3,000 or more policies in force. This data call requests information regarding the incidence of misrepresentations by insureds of the principal place where their vehicles are driven and/or garaged.

On November 10, 2022, the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS) issued its annual data call for the Annual Availability Survey, Free Trade Zone Report, and Special Homeowners Insurance Supplement. All licensed Property & Casualty insurers are required to submit this report, pursuant to Insurance Law §308. 

On October 28, 2022, the New York Department of Financial Services (DFS) issued its annual data call for commercial automobile liability insurers covering public automobile classifications, pursuant to Section 308 of the Insurance Law.
