Connecticut Issues Bulletin Regarding Financial Statement Filings

On December 17, 2024, the Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) issued Bulletin Number FS-4-24 to all insurers regarding the 2025 electronic financial statement filing requirements.

 

The bulletin states that each insurance company should electronically submit a true and complete report of their financial condition to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) on or before March 1, 2025. Additionally, companies will be required to report their financial condition on a quarterly basis during 2025, with statements due on May 15, August 15, and November 15, 2025. The company type specific filing checklist that is to be completed and submitted to the NAIC can be found on the CID website.
