Florida Issues Data Call Following Hurricane Debby

On August 6, 2024, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) issued a Data Call Notice following Hurricane Debby, requiring certain insurers to submit daily simplified catastrophe reporting.

 

FLOIR is requiring insurers authorized to write the specified lines of business in Florida to submit responses to the data call on Thursday, August 8, 2024, and Friday, August 9, 2024. The data must be submitted by 12 p.m. ET for each deadline using the Simplified 2024 Catastrophe Reporting Form (CRF). The data call provides instructions on how to submit the CRF.
