On December 22, 2022, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) issued a [notice to the industry](https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/FLOIR/bulletins/33ef154) regarding its data call related to Hurricane Ian catastrophe claims.

**The OIR is requiring enhanced catastrophe reporting for January 2023. The reporting deadline for January is:**

- **Wednesday, January 11, 2023 **

**Data must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. ET. Insurers are to report Hurricane Ian claims data using the Enhanced 2022 Catastrophe Reporting Form (CRF), which includes the "Survey" tab within the CRF template. **The fillable 2022 CRF template must be downloaded within the insurer's filing in [Insurance Regulation Filing System (IRFS)](https://irfs.fldfs.com/?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery). Further information and instructions are outlined within the OIR's notice.
