Maryland Issues Bulletin Requesting Disaster or Catastrophic Event Contact Information

On January 14, 2025, the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) issued Bulletin 25-3 to all insurers directing them to submit contact information in the event of a disaster or catastrophic event.

 

The MIA is requesting all insurers submit information on a primary and back-up contact that can be reached in the event of a disaster or catastrophic event, as well as other information. The contact information must be submitted electronically on the MIA website and must be reviewed and submitted by the close of business on April 15, 2025
