On December 30, 2025, the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance (Department) issued Order No. A25-11, requiring certain insurers to submit changes made to underwriting guidelines.
All insurers that have homeowners or private passenger automobile policies in force on the date of the order should continue to submit any changes implemented to their underwriting guidelines between January 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026, to the Department within five days of implementation. The documents should be e-mailed to market.analysis@dobi.nj.gov.
