On April 2, 2026, the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) issued a data call on residential policy nonrenewals and cancellations, along with instructions and worksheets for submission.
Authorized property and casualty insurers in the state that wrote residential property policies with combined total written premiums of $1 million or greater for Annual Statement Lines of Business 01 (Personal Fire) and 04 (Homeowners) in 2025 are required to respond. The instructions outline how to complete and submit the data call and survey. Responses are due by May 15, 2026, at 5 p.m. PST.
