On January 9, 2025, the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) issued a cover letter and a survey regarding the R 2024-07 Premium Transparency Rule.
The OIC is requesting all authorized property and casualty companies transacting personal insurance for private passenger automobile or homeowners coverage to complete the survey. It requests information regarding experience between June 1, 2024, and February 28, 2025, relating to the implementation of chapter 284-30A of the Washington Administrative Code. The full list of survey questions and the actual survey can be found on the OIC's website. Responses should be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on April 1, 2025.
