On September 13, 2023, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) issued a data call notice continuing the previous data call in response to Hurricane Idalia. FLOIR is continuing the data call reporting and is now requiring twice a week reporting. The dates in which the reporting is due are:

On September 6, 2023, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) issued a data call notice continuing the previous data call in response to Hurricane Idalia. FLOIR is continuing the data call reporting and requiring daily catastrophe reporting between Thursday, September 7 and Wednesday, September 13 by 12 P.M ET each day. This also includes reporting on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10.
Texas Issues Data Call for Disallowed Expenses

All insurers authorized to write certain lines of business are required to report Hurricane Idalia claims data, including the following:
- Fire;
- Allied Lines;
- Farmowners Multi-Peril;
- Homeowners Multi-Peril;
- Commercial Multi-Peril;
- Private Flood;

Washington Commissioner Issues Emergency Order in Response to Wildfires

On August 24, 2023, the Washington state Insurance Commissioner issued Emergency Order 2023-01 in light of the Gray and Oregon Road wildfires. This was issued in response to the Governor declaring an emergency because of the same wildfires.

North Carolina Rate Bureau Issues Mobile Homeowners Data Call

On August 3, 2023, the North Carolina Rate Bureau (NCRB) issued a circular letter to all property member companies regarding the Mobile Homeowners Statistical Data Call. They are requiring Mobile Home data to support Mobile Home (C) and Mobile Home (F) programs. Carriers who do not write mobile homeowners in the programs stated are not required to respond to the data call.
Pennsylvania Issues Private Passenger Automobile Data Call

On July 22, 2023, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department (PID) issued a notice to conduct its 2022 Private Passenger Automobile Data Call. The PID issued this data call in order to monitor the private passenger automobile insurance marketplace in Pennsylvania.
Utah has recently enacted House Bill 410, a comprehensive insurance omnibus bill that introduces several changes to the insurance landscape in the state. The bill, which amends the Insurance Code, the Public Employees' Benefit and Insurance Program Act, and related provisions, was signed into law by the Governor on March 14, 2023, and officially took effect on May 3, 2023.
