This survey requests detailed information on the total number of policies and direct premiums written, by category, for all public auto rate classifications during the time period of January 2022 through September 30, 2023. Any rate revisions that are being contemplated, or changes in your current level of writings in the immediate future, should also be included.

Vermont Issues Data Call in Response to Summer Rain and Flooding

On October 18, 2023, the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation (DFR) released Insurance Bulletin No. 227 in response to severe flooding and rain that occurred in July 2023. DFR has issued a data call to property and casualty insurers, including surplus lines or non-admitted insurers, for claims arising from these events with a date of loss between July 7, 2023 and September 1, 2023. The claims data, however, should not be limited to this time period or the counties identified in FEMA's disaster notices.
