On February 18, 2025, the North Carolina Department of Insurance (NCDOI) issued Bulletin Number 25-B-04 to all property and casualty insurers writing nonfleet private passenger motor vehicle physical damage and homeowners insurance coverage in the state, requesting data on Consent to Rate policies.

The bulletin requires insurers that have issued Consent to Rate policies between July 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, to submit the requested data to the NCDOI. The forms and instructions on how to complete the data call can be found on the NCDOI website, and a link is provided in the bulletin. Responses must be submitted no later than March 31, 2025.
