On December 11, 2022, the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Insurance (DOI), issued an open letter to the homeowners insurance companies with policyholders in the Marshall Fire area. The letter requests insurers to extend additional living expenses (ALE) coverage in homeowners' policies if the policy had a minimum of 12 months of coverage.

On December 22, 2022, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) issued a notice to the industry regarding its data call related to Hurricane Ian catastrophe claims.

On January 7, 2023, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department (PID) issued Notice 2023-01 to inform insurers of the increase in the accident surcharge dollar threshold (cap) to $2100, effective July 1, 2023. The previous adjustment to the threshold (cap) was effective July 1, 2022, when the threshold (cap) increased to $1,900.

On January 11, 2023, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) issued a Notice to the Industry regarding the data call for personal and commercial residential property claims litigation reporting.

On November 1, 2022, the New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI) issued Bulletin 2022-020 regarding automatic property and casualty insurance rate escalations covering risks located in the state of New Mexico.

On January 23, 2023, the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) issued Bulletin 23-1 regarding insurers' contact information in the event of a disaster or catastrophic event. 

On January 18, 2023, the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI) issued Insurance Bulletin 23-01 to all insurers issuing policies covering real or personal property in Missouri, requesting updated disaster contact information in anticipation of upcoming spring storm season.

On January 24, 2023, the Louisiana Department of Insurance (LDI) issued Directive 220, regarding additional living expense (ALE) coverage compliance, to all property and casualty insurers and surplus lines insurers issuing homeowners policies in Louisiana.

On January 30, 2023, the California Department of Insurance (CDI) issued Bulletin 2023-1 related to the increase in private passenger motor vehicle financial responsibility requirements, pursuant to Senate Bill 1107.

On February 4, 2023, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department (PID) published a notice in the official Pennsylvania Bulletin notifying insurance carriers of a medical malpractice data call to study the availability of additional basic coverage capacity in the medical malpractice marketplace in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
