On May 21, 2025, the Louisiana Department of Insurance issued Bulletin 2025-03 regarding the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program. 

The bulletin states that insurers are required to be knowledgeable about the Louisiana Fortify Homes Program and the endorsements, premium discounts, credits, rate differentials, deductible adjustments, and other premium-reducing measures that may be available to insureds. The bulletin outlines the applicable laws that establish and support the program.
