Louisiana has adopted Regulation 138 which, among other provisions, requires insurers authorized to issue commercial motor vehicle insurance policies to provide a discount on the liability premium for each commercial motor vehicle equipped with a dashboard camera and telematics system that meet the specified requirements. The regulation describes the qualifications for the premium discount, annual verification procedures, and insurer qualifications for exemption.
