On February 25, 2026, the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS) issued Bulletin 2026-09-INS, which supersedes Bulletin 2025-05-INS, to announce fee schedule adjustments.

The medical provider fee schedule added to the Insurance Code pursuant to Public Acts 21 and 22 of 2019 requires the Director to adjust the amounts payable that are to be applied on an annual basis by the percentage change in the medical component of the Consumer Price Index. The bulletin states that any amount payable that was in effect on January 1, 2019, should be increased by 16.38% for dates of service from July 2, 2026, through July 1, 2027. The bulletin also provides the fee schedule adjustments for recent periods.
