On February 6, 2024, the North Carolina Department of Insurance (NCDOI) issued Bulletin 24-B-03 to property and casualty insurers writing Homeowners insurance in North Carolina.

The bulletin requests data from each member company of the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association (NCIUA) regarding their homeowners policy writings in the beach and coastal areas, including homeowners wind and hail.  

The response is to be submitted no later than April 1, 2024.
