On July 31, 2026, the Director of the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services issued a Wildfire Emergency Order requiring all insurers to take certain actions regarding claims related to areas affected by the wildfire, and instituting a grace period for premium payment on all insurance policies within the affected areas. On August 30, 2026, the Director released an Order Extending Wildfire Emergency Order to extend the effective period 30 days.
