    Pennsylvania Issues Notice of Filing Requirement Changes

    On April 11, 2026, the Pennsylvania Insurance Department issued Notice 2026-07 to inform insurers of recent changes to property and casualty insurance rate, rule, and policy form filing requirements.

     

    The notice lists the types of insurance for which rate, rule, and policy form filing requirements apply, while deregulating all other types and kinds of property and casualty insurance from filing requirements. The rates, rules, and policy forms of the deregulated types and kinds of insurance must still comply with all applicable federal and state laws regardless of filing requirements. This became effective April 12, 2026.
