On August 22, 2024, the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner (WOIC) issued a residential policy nonrenewals and cancellations data call, along with instructions and the worksheet that is to be submitted.

Authorized property and casualty insurers in the state that have written residential property policies that combined to total $1 million or greater in written premium for Annual Statement Lines of Business 01 (Personal Fire) and 04 (Homeowners) in either 2021, 2022, or 2023 are required to respond. The instructions outline how to complete and submit the data call and survey. Responses are to be submitted by September 26, 2024, at 5 p.m. PT.
