On October 31, 2025, the Alaska Division of Insurance (AKDOI) issued Bulletin B25-08, which supersedes Bulletin B25-07, providing requirements for insurers following the storms that impacted the west coast of Alaska.

The AKDOI is directing all insurers to suspend the issuance of policy cancellations or nonrenewals in the specified affected areas until the bulletin expires at 11:59 p.m. on November 30, 2025. Additionally, the bulletin provides certain requirements for insurers regarding the investigation of claims.
