Florida Issues Data Call Following Flash Flooding

On June 20, 2024, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) issued a Data Call Notice following Invest 90L South Florida Flash Flooding, requiring certain insurers to report claims data.

 

FLOIR is requiring insurers authorized to write the specified lines of business in Florida to submit weekly simplified catastrophe reporting for the flash flooding. The weekly reporting deadlines are as follows:

  • Wednesday, June 26, 2024
  • Wednesday, July 3, 2024
  • Wednesday, July 10, 2024
  • Wednesday, July 17, 2024

The data must be submitted by 12 p.m. ET for each deadline. The reports must be submitted using the Simplified 2024 CRF found on the FLOIR website.
