    Florida Issues Data Call Following Hurricane Milton

    On October 8, 2024, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR) issued a Data Call Notice following Hurricane Milton, requiring certain insurers to submit daily simplified catastrophe reporting.

     

    FLOIR is requiring insurers authorized to write the specified lines of business in Florida to submit daily responses to the data call starting on Thursday, October 10, 2024, and ending on Sunday, October 20, 2024. The data must be submitted by 10 a.m. ET for each deadline using the Simplified 2024 Catastrophe Reporting Form (CRF). The data call provides instructions on how to submit the CRF.
